We welcome you to this year's Nordic Biodynamic Forum, which this year is held in Ytterjärna in Sweden and is organized by us in the Swedish association.
The forum is an annual inspiration meeting for those active in biodynamic initiatives in the Nordic region. This year we look to the future and ask ourselves what future challenges we face and how we should organize ourselves to solve them.
It's time to sign up for the forum. We are fully planning and looking forward to Skillebyholm being filled with curious participants at the end of November so that we can network and take on the challenges of the future together.
The program
During the days we meet, we will receive reports from the various Nordic countries' associations to learn more about their history but also to understand more about the challenges they face going forward.
We will also delve into the need for cooperation and collaboration across borders when we listen to Sofi Gerber who presents the work with Ekodistrikt Sörmland and in connection with that we will learn more about Södertälje Municipality's work through Sara Seing and Ecological Farmers Sörmland is represented by Malin Schreiber. Demeter representatives from the Nordic and Baltic countries will present their thoughts on important cooperation for the future.
We listen to Martin and Frida from Skilleby Trädgård and visit Max Geiger at Yttereneby to find out more about their current and future operations. Niclas Dagman talks about his journey from conventional grower to organic and finally biodynamic.
Then we aim forward by taking a starting point in history when Edith Lammerts van Bueren talks about Persephone and talks about the direction in which research needs to go. We get to listen to the Danish researcher Jens-Otto Andersen's latest findings in his research on food and learn more about international research efforts.
Lars Kjellenberg gives us an insight into contemporary research and Daniel Norén will present the talk 'Water in our Landscapes'.
The forum starts on Friday 22 November at 14.00 and we finish after lunch at 14.o0 Sunday 24 November.
For those who want and are interested, Stiftelsen Biodynamic Research Institute will give a presentation of research results the day before, on Thursday, November 21 at See advertisement next to this.
